We've been vacationing in Saugatuck for 26 years and when we finally decided to buy, Mike was the epitome of patience and no-pressure while helping us to navigate things that weren't readily apparent to us as people who had never lived here year-round. Mike made our transition to the area super easy because he not only kept us in the loop about the purchasing process, he also made sure to help guide us through our initial integration into the community. His knowledge of the community and surrounding area are unmatched. All of our service people—plumber, electrician, HVAC, landscaping, firewood—were recommended by Mike and we haven't been disappointed yet! Throughout the entire home search and purchase process, Mike was available through email or calls in a timely fashion. No ghosting!!! When unexpected things were revealed through a thorough home inspection Mike was 100% on top of these issues. We barely had to worry about it because Mike took the initiative to put solutions into place. We will use Mike every time we want to sell or buy!

Michael sold my house and assisted me in finding a new home. He was professional, looked at options and guided me through the whole process. At the new house, there was an exposed plumbing pipe by my back door and he came personally and filled in the dirt to cover it! I would highly recommend Michael!!!

Last spring, wife and I decided to purchase a lakefront home in either Saugatuck, Douglas or Fennville. Since we knew no one in the area, I turned to the internet and that is where I found Mike Deem. I located a great video that Mike did for one of his listings; and I knew I wanted an agent with that kind of eye to assist me as a buyer.Mike knows everybody! He also knows all the properties on the market at any given time. This knowledge helped us be very efficient in our search. It saved us time and focused our efforts. He is attentive and made himself available to accommodate our schedules. We found a wonderful home on the lake in Fennville in six weeks. We closed four weeks later and were able to enjoy our new home while still in the summer season. Mike is a creative negotiator. He came up with ideas that helped get the right price and terms. He is honest, trustworthy and most important of all, always on your side. You can’t go wrong with Mike.
